Dipping a toe into bounded rationality

I’m a huge fan of the theory of bounded rationality. The idea that we’ll never be able to take in, process or analyse the amount of data needed to ever come close to the thruth, any truth. The data isn’t available, we haven’t got the tools, we don’t have enough time, and we’re too stupid. What we’re doing instead is simplifying what we’re given to justify the first thought we find fairly reasonable.

And this is fine. This is what being a human is all about. Flaws. But we all need to be aware this, we’ll never reach the truth. Or well, we might, but if we do we’re probably not able to know for sure that we actually did.
