Stagnant Water and Flowing Water

I pondered on why stagnant water always ends up useless whether poured away or dried up. On the other hand, flowing water flows through mud or rusted pipes, ends up becoming a river and people rush to fetch from it and still call it clean water.

When water is stagnant, mosquitoes breed on it, birds defecate in it, people spit on it and the sun gradually dries it up. Flowing water flows in a way that mosquitoes cannot contend with its current. Birds come to see if they can fish from it. It flows in a way that it joins a confluence to become an ocean, gaining strength.

That is exactly how we are. We could be moving (flowing) or stagnant, but we are made to flow, blossom and not be stagnant in every aspect of our lives. May we always blossom, flow and move just like the river keeps flowing.

Have a wonderful day!
