Toyota Sera Modified

Super Live Surround Sound (SLSS)
One primary option was a car audio system called the Super Live Surround Sound. The SLSS contained:
- 10 speakers.
- 3 x 10cm tweeters at the front console (left-right and center).
- 2 x 10 cm door-mounted cones (left & right).
There were also 2 x tube-shaped units mounted on the rear parcel shelves. A boot was fitted with an ‘Acoustic Resonance Woofer’ (subwoofer). The SLSS was equipped with a three-mode Digital Sound Processor.
This allowed the user to switch between ‘off, Casual,’ and ‘Funky modes using a WARP button on the CD/Radio/Cassette Head Unit. These settings created slight differences in the sound quality. The preset values were used to adjust the bass and treble of the sound.
Also, the rear unit could be rotated to project the rear speakers directly into the vehicle or bounce off it. Toyota sera modified owners are highly interested in a functional SLSS. Unfortunately, they can only retrofit the factory-fitted model.
