I like your suggestions a lot and I think all managers would benefit, not just CEOs. I would add that if you ask someone for advice and decide not to take it, you must communicate exactly why you decided not to take that advice. Otherwise, you will not get honest advice in the future; you’ll get half hearted suggestions. You have to give honest feedback to get honest feedback.
