I Saved My Own Life

I saved my own life by saving my character first. I can say that there was a time in my life where I had to truly choose what kind of person I wanted to be. I have to admit that I could have been a professional bad person very easily. I had circumstances in my life that gave me the perfect excuse to be able to say, “I had to do it”, and then live my life as a professional bad person.

I decided in my life that I wanted people to know and remember me as a good guy. By me making the conscious decision to do good in this life my interpretation of success is being loved by family, friends and children, especially my child. I truly believe that by me deciding to be a good guy has made me happier than any amount of money I could have possessed. I have really discovered that money can not buy happiness, money can only help make life a little easier. But when you obtain happiness without money that is when money is really;truly used for what its supposed to be used for.

I have really discovered that money can't buy happiness it can only help. A person's happiness has to be built and earned. Happiness cannot be bought.

There is no car that can up my value, I up the value of whatever car I'm driving. There is no amount of money that will define my worth because I make the money, money does not make me. My character makes me. I put my character in the upper-echelon class, my character is not middle-class and my character is definitely not poor. My character is in the the prestige category because I put it there as a person, money did not make me me.

My character has made me worthy, therefore money can never define my worth. My character has saved my life. My character allows me to truly want to live and experience life because I am proud of me. I understand that money can give someone delight but cannot give someone happiness.

In conclusion build the worth of your character instead of worrying so much about building the worth of your bank account, because money can only help your life, but your character is the only thing that can make and save your life. It has saved mine. Now I can walk into any social circle, whether its poor, middle or upper-class and feel confident and comfortable. Because my financial status does not make my worth, my character does.
