What Are Your Principle(s)?
Do you know what it means to have principles? Don´t get principles confused with morals. A principle is something that happens automatically no matter what. For example the principle of gravity is to make things fall to the Earths ground. So what are your principles?
You have to search your character to understand what you do subconsciously when situations arise. What is your character´s first impression that it automatically; naturally presents to life. Whatever first impression your instinct automatically attempts to set in situations life throws our way is one way you can find out what principle(s) you possess as a person. A person can have multiple principles, and whether they have discovered their principles or not, it usually shows up and is recognizable to others. It is that first impression that your instinct automatically attempts to set in situations that arise in ones´s life. So don´t only pay attention to your surroundings and worldly issues, but pay attention to what you instinctivly do subconsciously without much thought.
Therefore principles are those things that a person´s character instinctivly presents to the world´s real life situations. Making a person´s principle(s) unimitatable and automatic. A person´s principles sometimes sounds like you are trying to describe one´s personality, but principles is what is embedded in a person´s personality.
I have two principles that God has embedded in me. One is to take things and/or matters to the highest level. My character automatically attempts to present itself to situations that arise spontaneously in my life as ¨The Champion¨. Therefore I find myself always thinking everything is a competition ¨to the death¨, in other words I find myself putting myself in situations as if I need to do better than everyone else or that a person is trying to compete with me even when their not.
Now that is how I understand that a principle is embedded in my character is to take situations or matters to the highest level. This is something that I subconsciously do without much thought; it is my first impression my character attempts to set in spontaneous; real life situations.
Also another principle of mine is to preach the Word of God. my life has been a real testimony of the will of God. It has not all been fun but it had to happen in order for me to understand the full spectra of my character´s personality. Without the Word I have I would be a lost soul., I would not be able to function mentally, the Word is one of the main reasons my mind and personality is so confident and joyful. No matter what, my principles arise and mold me automatically. I subconsciously always attempt to take matters or situations to the highest possible level, while my mind ponders about the Word. Those are my principles. What are yours?
Find your principle(s). Meditation is a great excercise to do to delve into yourself. Understanding what principles are has helped me feel a sense of completion and value. All I did was think outside the box, aswell as inside box when searching my soul; character for my principle(s). Most people often advise others to think outside the box and leave it at that. My message to you is to think outside aswell as inside the box.
In my book, which is available here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0106SADB6?keywords=the%20root%20of%20david&qid=1448383410&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2, I utilize The Bible to think inside the box but at the same time I take into consideration that The Bible has been reiterated so much that the message is incripted. But at the same time I understand that the message is compacted with truth and wisdom. Therefore I always try to think of how the messsage can be related to the present tense and don`t stray to far from what the message is saying. So my advise would be to think outside and inside the box, and to find your principle(s).
