Psychographics is defined as the measurement of the psyche, through which we find the skills, the personality, the manner, the likelihood, the risk, the social mind, the subconscious, and greatest of all the Potential.

While image is all illusory, backgrounds are defined by environmental determinism, and even the words or vocal tones human use can obscure their reality, psychographics provides a measure of abstraction which can display inner potential beyond that which is perceived by the outside observer.

Psychographics can uncover the inherent skills and nature in someone.

In most cases, the observer is limited, biased, preconceived, prejudice, or already given relational data which influences the final judgement. Historical attempts to engineer this world on meritocracy are, of course, laughable.

The observed however is able to reveal themselves with psychographics. Being seen beyond race, age, sex, sexuality, religion, creed, class, college, language, etc can be very powerful.

Don’t let the exterior define your judge of a person. Character defines the Why and How of action. Such insights into the motivations of a person are truly enlightening.

The fun and energetic, social employee may seem great, but they’re more likely to be absent, or more likely to steal your intellectual property. The highly neurotic employee may appear annoying, but if they’re also highly conscientious, the combined harm avoidant behavior can prove to be a great mix of intelligence, diligence, and insured decision making. The employee with the best attendance might easy to work with, collaborative, and a little quiet, but what if he’s also the one who is the least satisfied?
