I’m not so convinced. I was under the impression that the lumpenproletariat were happy to have wrecked things for the careerist and out-of-touch politicians, and they’d happily do it again and again. Brexit itself wasn’t particularly important. Hence the wierd correlation of saving the NHS while trashing the people who make it work.
I see parallels between that and what Corbynites are up to. They don’t give up, they don’t modify their stance, and they will just keep at it until they get what they want, even if their number drops to single figures.
The game then is not about outnumbering, but about co-opting.
