The other half of my point was that Cameron won’t be judged as any worse than Blair. Cameron may be judged as a feckless housewrecker who unwittingly rearranged the UK, but his level of dissembling didn’t approach Bliar Tony’s. You probably caught onto my point about Cameron overall. In my view he’s a disaster because of his economic and social polices. It’s too early to say how he’ll be judged overall, though. Let’s see how things play out over the next year.
I take it as significant that in the wake of Brexit and Chilcot, Blair has been left to twist in the wind by his former mates. They’ve got more important things to do than salvage his reputation. I’ve yet to hear a peep from Mandy. Theoretically, in true Jo Moore fashion, the Chilcot report could have been brushed aside post-Brexit.
