Vote…but for who???

I think we all can agree both candidates just are not the best examples of ourselves. Although I am reading of the rise of Kamala Harris, I am indirectly interested in her, her husband went to the same elementary school and had some of the same teachers as I did, although I am younger than he. It does not add to her luster or her appeal. I know nothing about her much in the same way Mr. Obama was

I just do not find either to my liking, why do we know so little about her while we know a bunch about Mr. Trump. We know more about him than we probably need to but if we put Ms. Harris under the same scrutiny would we like what we find out? I am not sure I would say yes or no, what we do not know…we just do not know. It does not make it good or bad that we do not know but it is a double standard, if we need to know everything about Mr. Trump we ought to be giving her the same level of scrutiny. I am not sure her lack of experience in international affairs is good or bad. It worries me that her lack of experience dealing with heads of states could come back and hurt us and her. Although many presidents have that problem, I said the same thing about Mr. Obama. I said too but more of a whisper about George W. Bush.

What do we know, what should we know, what do we need to know??? If it was this easy we could find answers to questions without much research. Ms. Harris and Mr. Trump have more in common than not, although I do not think of either as being twins. They share the same level of drive, you do not get this far in American politics without that level. Having been in student government and in Boy Scouts politics and I did want those poltical jobs. But now I have zero interest in being involved in politics. I am not up for the open scrutiny of my life.
