In some cases, citizens did have a choice in Tue exchange to be covered by only one insurer, which was the same choice those citizens had prior to the ACA, except now with the same aforementioned penalty should that person not choose to participate. He ultimately changed our founding documents to read that we,the people, have the right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as long as the people are willing to pay for it. If they do not, then death is their only other option.”
