Maybe. But I doubt many in the states left behind would want to fight and maybe die to keep states…

Can’t put all the blame on republicans. With the things dems have done, wedges have been driven in by both sides. It is my hope, a fleeting one at best, that these differences will be reconciled. Unfortunately, as I said, that hope is fleeting, and the further both sides pull apart, the harder it will become to find common ground, making the likelihood of secession high. Hopefully you’re right that it won’t come to blows, but the federal government cannot afford to lose Texas’ strong economy, and the ports and cattle of california.
