I cannot compute. Why do we hate LGBTQ much? What do we gain from stigmatizing them, from mistreating them, from marginalizing them? There’s certainly no economic gain; it’s probably costing taxpayers more to fight this in courts than if we all left well enough alone.

Whom, and how, another person chooses to love is none of my business. It’s just different than how and whom I choose to love. Not worse. Not better. Just different.

You know what disgusts me? Eating a steak with catsup. I find that to be stomach turning. But I don’t make the people who enjoy their steak that way eat it somewhere else. I don’t send them to steak-church to be forced to learn to eat steak properly. I don’t deny them the steak or the catsup. I would be horrified if restaurants segregated steak-with-catsup eaters, charged them more to dine, or worse, refused them service. Steak-with-catsup eaters deserve to eat as they wish. If their actions don’t endanger others lives, then who are we to force our preferences on them?

Call me a radical leftist or progressive, but I believe there are far more pressing and more important issues than deciding where a person goes to the bathroom or what gender they choose to present to others.

This hete is patent stupidity.
