Drake is coming to a city near you this summer with his uber-deluxe budgeted spectacle ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour. Nightly, you can see him perform with a digitally altered version of his younger self and there’s even hovering sperm floating over his head at one point, nobody can’t say that Aubrey is no showman. But, it’s what he’s wearing on stage that people should take notice of, that he wants to be Nike’s biggest spokesman for the company.

Traveling around from city to city as a walking Nike billboard for his apparel line Nocta certainly won’t hurt sales one bit. There’s no better way to debut your latest drops than to perform some of the biggest hits over the last 15 years in your own gear. Depending on Drake’s mood he rotates new colorways of his Nocta Glide sneakers expected to release soon or his sequel for his 90s-inspired runner Nocta Hot Stepper 2. Not to mention he has his friends all suited in his version of the Nike Tech Fleece like it's 2013 again, while flying Air Drake. Who says the bros can’t all match all at once?

In years past his previous tours sponsorships like Calvin Klein and Prada came calling to style him but for some reason, they just didn’t fit his aesthetic while on stage. Drake from his apparel line and the sneakers he wears on the regular seems to be a nostalgic guy, wanting a wardrobe that brings him back to certain points in his life. He looks as cool and comfortable as he ever has before in his oversized cutoff shirts that drape over his shoulders at just the right angle similar to Michael Jordan’s in the Last Dance documentary or donning an eye-catching Nike Tech Vest with a LED swoosh. ‘It’s All A Blur’ Tour is also a fitting tribute/send-off to the late Nike innovator and fashion icon Virgil Abloh with a giant statue of his friend in the arena, almost like his guardian angel guiding him throughout the tour. Drake started his career not known as a fashion-forward guy, that was kind of left for the Kanye, Pharrell, and lately the Travis Scott of the world, but on this tour, Drake appears to be leveling up his sportswear line let’s see if he can keep that same energy moving forward.
