Pursuing EU citizenship is becoming an increasingly popular consideration for those with ancestral roots in certain European countries, particularly for -

• US/Canadian/UK citizens with European ancestry who may be seeking a relatively simple route to settling in a European country without the need to apply for residency or navigate the ever-complex minefield of visas. Additionally, many may be seeking to work within the EU, thus becoming eligible for arguably, more favourable benefits such as higher levels of PTO (paid time off) and more affordable healthcare.
• UK citizens impacted by the UK no longer being a member of the EU, and as above, may be looking into alternative options in relation to settlement, retirement, or working abroad.
• Digital Nomads/Remote Workers interested in legally remaining in the EU without having to constantly keep track of remaining days in a certain country, or having to pursue Digital Nomad visas, which often come with hefty salary requirements.
