What I find most amazing about this insightful article is the amount of work and time involved in migrating to Linux. And once you are there, you have nothing but community-supported projects (and a wing and a prayer) to get your work done. If you aren’t an IT expert, or a hands-on geek with lots of spare time, it’s staggering to think what is required just to get up and running. So thanks for sparing me the trouble of *trying* this on my own! I’ll stick with the ready-to-go services from the “relentless control freak” company for now. But I’ll continue to watch your articles on this topic: the issue of privacy is not going to change for the better any time soon.
