George Carlin had it right when he said: ‘I don’t vote; ever. It only encourages these assholes.’ In an aside, I like the way Mr. Shirkey refers to Donnie & Hilly as ‘our choice’ in Nov. No; that’s not a choice. It’s a form of political extortion. ‘If you refuse to vote for either one of these candidates, the one you DON’T vote for (or abstain from voting for) will bend you over a chair for the next 4 years…’ Oh, boy. Gee. Doesn’t that make us all enthusiastic fans of our alleged democracy. We’re being told to eat our spinach…AND LIKE IT!! Well, fuck them. I don’t like it and I’ll vote for Jill anyway. And it’s NOT a protest vote.
