Solution. Pass a law making it illegal for any elected official to receive a Federal Government provided Healthcare insurance plan. They AND there families must purchase a healthcare plan on the open market! That should provide an interesting incentive for them to make sure we actually have a healthcare insurance system.

Of course THEY have to pass the law, but perhaps we can hold a referendum or something.
