I don’t want to complain about things
But why have I not grown a set of wings?
For no one is invited to any dings
Unless they have a set of wings
That, my friends, is hardly fair
Not even in the corporate state of Delaware
The conservatives blame me the Liberals blame them
And then they fly away again
So here I sit without any wings
And all the finer things said wings bring
Droppings trickle from the sky
And they fall in my eye
I’m told it’s my own fault for looking up
The Flyers call me an Ungrateful pup
And laugh as they fly away
To shit on me another day.
