So you’re saying companies should wait 3 months before providing an offer to one of the most employable and talented candidates just because they can & should be a tease? What a load of cobblers.

It frustrates me that companies waste days, weeks and often months on multi stage interviews and assessments when they forget that the candidates time is just as important.

Whilst I have personally never possesses the desire to work with any of these giants you mention, if a company adopted any 2 of these techniques during the selection process I would most certainly choose not to work for them. It’s disrespectful.

There are far more simpler and fair ways to test for flair, experience and flexibility. The companies that reduce the time on their recruitment cycle and make it as easy and pleasurable to apply are in my opinion far likely to be perceived favourably.

Remember it’s a two way street, the employers need to impress potential employees too!!
