However, and this may seem like semantics, I disagree with the core premise.
Desire, dreams, wishes, wants, shoulda/woulda/couldas don’t lead to success. The only thing that leads to success (or failure) is the willingness to act on those desires.
Truthfully, the only thing that leads to the possibility of success is the willingness to fail — not a lack of fear of failure, but the acknowledgement that potential (even likely, sometimes) failure is worth the risk.
And the willingness to rinse, wash, learn, repeat — again and again until either the desire has left you, or success is attained.
Desire is fuel for the success machine, but you have work to create the spark.
