although I know most “white America” would look at this as some silly “woe is me” post, the fact of the matter is, that it is the reality, Minorities live in, and it is a sad state of affairs. We should all be able to live in a world were the rules are the same for everyone, and everyone had the same sense of personal safety. Maybe some day in my children's future, we, (I included) can help to create that world!. I for one am willing to start the process of creating that world, by opening my eyes up to what is going on around me, and not turning a blind eye to it. Omar if you ever feel the want or need to play Pokemon Go in my neighborhood, I would be honored to go along with you, not as a bodyguard or shield, but as a fellow member of the human race who deserves to make it a better place for all of us.
