I don’t think it’s sexism in most of those cases. I’m not American, so my exposure is limited, but in 2014 some guy in New Jersey called me idiot because I liked British medical. And I was 29 year old white guy in a blazer.

There are obvious sexist remarks, but I don’t think they are primary reason. Reason is — they don’t like Democrats (opposing party), and then they cycle through ways to attack the idea. Sexism? if not maybe Racism? if not maybe Sectarianism?
