Today’s moment of gratitude

I’ve been finding ways to find just a second of introspection or gratitude this week. Here’s today.

People are always angry on the news. Fighting and yelling about their points of view. But how many people did it take to create everything in your room. Your office? The route to work on public transit or a car? Shit is awesome when we work together, and 99% of the time we do.

Look around the room you are in, and find an object made by someone else. Can we just take a minute to appreciate how amazing that is? Everything around us was made by our peers and community. Those colors and fonts and paints were all chosen by someone like you. People put their soul into designing something for you to live better with. This computer or phone you’re reading on is the result of hard work.

That’s pretty amazing.
