If you think they NYT and WaPo, Comcast, CNN and the rest of MSM is liberal, then you are part of the problem. MSM report what it’s plutocrat owners want. Full stop. They didn’t want a President Sanders so tget made sure it did not happen, with lots of help from the corrupt DNC primary machinations — the most critical event leading to the Trump Presidency — and nary a word from the MSM.

MSM is irrelevant because it’s owners chose profits and the status quo over being a responsible 4th estate. There’s no resurrection. It’s over.

The bat shit crazy right will always be 25/30% of the country. They don’t matter in the big scheme of things especially with fast changing demographics. The real left will never forget what the MSM did to Sanders and the subsequent aftermath. ( no, neoliberal sycophants are not the left) That’s another 40–45 % of the voting population that consumes MSM for sports and entertainment only now. That leaves a rather small sliver of low info voters. But as a result of 2016 and the aftermath, MSM lost them too, at least in terms of news credibility.

The right has its fake news sources. The left has TYT, Democracy Now, the Intercept, etc. Hence, MSM now has hardly any “loyal” audience.

Fortunately we have a people and independent media driven open internet, for now, that will cause Trump to be excised like a roiling boil in short order. Trump is fixable. Corporate, profit driven MSM is not.

Shame on you if you are not shouting all of the above from the window “Network” style because you are in a position to do so. Most of us reading here are not. But we will call out bullshit. And asserting the NYT or other corporate media outlets are liberal is bullshit. It’s like saying. Climate change is a hoax.
