The boomers are a lost cause. Even the economically struggling boomers consume mostly tv news, which as you know is pure corporate propaganda. The poor either cannot or will not vote.
The boomers , even most self identified liberal ones, have no clue how corrupt MSM, the Democratic Party, and political foundations have become. MSNBC, CNN, Fox, nightly news etc. literally won’t have an audience in 4 years. This is all assumed or considered fact to anyone under 4o who pays even the slightest attention, regardless of socioeconomic background
Bernie could die tomorrow and the mantle will be taken up by Tulsi or Jeff Merkley or Lis Warren etc. There is no shortage of leadership. The change that Obama lied to the American people about bringing is coming anyway.
My kids are children of 911 and the Great Recession — all events caused by or contributed to by MSM and conservative politicians of all stripes. ( That included you DINOS, Hillary, 3rd way and DLC. The millennials know exactly who you are.) Now take my kids and multiply by millions upon millions who saw their parents in pain at the dinner table talking about layoffs, foreclosure, and the family budget, and perhaps no money for college. The millennials ARE victims. And they want justice and they will get it sooner or later.
Hillary will lose to Trump because Trump won’t take the millennials to endless war. His bigoted and comic nature is not really relevant when you really crunch the numbers. Don’t celebrates Republicans. The millennials will start knocking out Republicans and DINOs one by one starting in 2016. By 2020 a real progressive liberal will blow out any conservative challengers while securing a massive progressive house and senate majority — all done by millennials who don’t watch broadcast tv news and who read the big city newspapers for sports coverage only.
They will be watching TYT and other internet based sources who make a living telling the truth.
In short, look for political candidates of all stripes getting the same question soon — do you pledge allegiance to corporations or to the American people? Simple question posed by millennials for millennials.
Bernie didn’t need to be asked. His record spoke for itself. So unless you are an authentic politician, start making plans for the private sector. Your public sector days are numbered sure as magnetic north slowly drifts south.
