I didn’t read the whole thing but on the surface, it looks like some of the fights we have had in my town. Many of my neighbors have come together to fight new developments that would dilute property values. Most have been won. The few that have been lost have become a strain on the town, primarily from a traffic perspective but also from an aesthetic perspective.

Homeowners invest in their buildings to keep them looking nice. Developers and management companies only do what they must to maintain occupancy levels.
