The Headspace app icon is a very effective design in my opinion. The app itself has the purpose of clearing people’s heads from stress through the process of meditation, and the process begins with its app icon. The simple orange circle with a white background is very peaceful to the eye; however, the color is also chosen to be catchy so that users will be able to easily notice the application. There are no words or characters on the icon itself as the app is supposed to clear the users from all thought and problems. The circle does not appear to be a perfect circle so that it is more soothing to the eye

Yesterday, I was at Honeygrow and I had interacted with a design of the seating arrangement that was inefficient in my opinion. The tables at Honeygrow were firmly rooted to the ground and was unmovable. However, the spacing in between tables was an awkward distance of about 1/2 feet. This design seems to be very inefficient in my opinion because if it was 2 groups of two customers that had to sit next to each other, they would be awkwardly close and easy to overhear the other party’s conversation. However, if it was a group of four that tried to each together, there was an awkward gap in between creating distance amongst each other.
