Again, Unmair, your arguments depend upon corrupt definitions of words and the social system that surround us and I cannot respond without spending considerable time correcting you.

Firstly, what is a Left-wing philosophy and why is it associated with socialism? What is Socialism? What is a Right-wing philosophy and why is it associated with capitalism? What is capitalism?

The Left have a collectivist philosophy that groups people according to attributes significant to their arguments. For Marx these were the workers, the elite owners of industry and the army of middle class enablers. The modern Leftists divide people according to race, gender, religion and sexual preference. However, while such divisions can make for a fascinating study of trends such as how groups generally respond their use overall is limited because no two people are the same. We see this with feminists wanting to exclude transexuals battling those who do not.

Socialism then uses these groups to see the world as the oppressors versus the oppressed and claims that for the good of the many the few must be sacrificed. This then becomes for the good of the oppressed the oppressors must be sacrificed, followed by for the good of the important, the unimportant must be sacrificed until Socialism is established when it finalizes as for the good of the socialist state the people must be sacrificed.

What you ignore, Unmair, is that socialism comes in two different stages. To create the socialist state a revolution is required. A majority class of oppressed people are chosen as the revolutionaries and through either violent revolution or through a democratic takeover both the elite and the middle class enablers are disenfranchised and dispossessed or destroyed. This system cannot tolerate alternative views, debate or free speech because according to Marx the Elite and their enablers will use such mechanisms to return to power and destroy the socialist state. However, this was a lie.

Even if the “oppressors” were not destroyed but merely dispossessed, a vigilant class of the “past oppressed majority” would be more than enough to prevent a now destitute group of oppressors from returning to power. The truth is that socialism did not bring new technologies to ease the burden of steel workers or farmers in Marx’s day. The conditions for steel workers and farmers actually got worse and their oppression under a totalitarian state increased. For the modern Marxist, the socialist bureaucracy requires uniformity and conformity and it would not tolerate the gender non-binary model for humanity. The idea that the socialists currently funded and powered by corporations and the deep state state, would allow their enterprise to be run by pink-haired extremists and immigrants is more than just ludicrous. And the real threat to the socialist state would not be the “past oppressive elite” but the disenchanted “oppressed” foot soldiers who had shown they could topple a social system and who are now more oppressed than before. This is why in every example of socialism before millions of workers were murdered.

Then we move onto Right-wing philosophy. While it is convenient to equate the right with racism, bigotry, and small brained thinking simply because cultural uniformity increases security and positive community relations, the simple fact is that stupid, ignorant and petty-minded people are a part of every group. It is not a Right-wing position but a human one.

Opposing the Left’s collectivism, the Right believes in individualism. In contrast to the Left sacrificing the few for the good of the many consider the parable of the lost sheep where a shepherd abandons his entire flock to rescue a lost sheep. We all recognize this to be a promise for Christian salvation but in philosophical terms it claims that all the flock is saved if every single sheep is saved.

The results of this individualism are obvious. No one should be above the law. Everyone is equal under the law. It is better that many guilty men go free than a single innocent man be prosecuted. The rights of the individual are paramount. There should be equal opportunity for everyone and so the list continues. And, of course all of these have been eroded in the USA since its foundation.

In fact, what you and many others in the USA call capitalism is better described as corruption, consumerism and corporatism. Prior to Al Capone and the Chicago gangsters, criminals defied the law and fought police while shooting each other for the scraps they could take from the poor. While the change was actually global lets look at how the criminal gangs of Chicago adapted. They bribed politicians to support prohibition. They provided security for the Women’s temperance movement in order to change the law to create a profitable business environment. Instead of shootouts with police, they bribed them to destroy the competition and to maintain their profits. The corporations adopted the same practices bribing politicians, controlling governments, removing competition using the courts and pillaging foreign nations using the military.

The issues you have with Capitalism, Unmair, have nothing to do with capitalism regulated by the rule of law and the equal rights of individuals. Corporatism has no tolerance for competition or upward mobility and they denounce free trade and the invisible hand of Adam Smith. They are not capitalists at all; they are gangsters no better than Al Capone.

As long as you ignore corruption which has taken hold of both the Left and the Right you are missing the mark. And while you praise the Left don’t forget that the deep state, Google, Facebook and CNN will continue to support socialism right up until it puts them in control of a totalitarian system because if you believe they will support taxing the wealthy into non-existence you are more than simply misguided.
