The sound of Sundays

It’s Sunday. We have just finished lunch and the afternoon gives the landscape more color. The colors in autumn are more intense, glowing like fire, a range of oranges and browns. But the colors are not the only thing that changes at this time, the sound also.

People are leaving the village, they have to go back to their routine, they return to the cities where they will spend the whole week until the next weekend if they are lucky.

Those who live in the village are resting in their homes. It is extremely windy outside so people will probably stay at home for the rest of the day. The wind amplifies the outside sound and today the sound looks like the sea on a windy day, the waves crashing repeatedly and constantly. If you close your eyes for a moment it is like being near the sea with the waves traveling one behind another.

Every Sunday the sound is different but today, like the color of the countryside in autumn, it is more intense.
