Perhaps this experience has actually just been hyper compressed into a split second of taking a photo and getting instant feedback. Isn’t that ultimately what the whole film development process is? Digital photography also adds a continuation of experience (read Instagram) that film photography would never be able to match. I’d argue its not an either or of experiences, it’s just fundamentally different
