Truth telling time. That previous explanation was putting an acceptable psychological gloss on what I think was the reality. One word. Laziness.

Of course, all of what I said before was true. Comfortable in a white upper-middle class patriarchy. Comfortable in an environment of white male privilege (qualified by others so it didn’t much impact her, or so she thought). Fear of Flying (note the capitals — read it). The “Let someone else do it, I’ll cheer them on” syndrome.

We must oppose laziness.
