Hey Aki, thanks for your input. Actually I did some thinking over it before and I don’t believe in that solution, as it just adds an extra step to perform an action, but doesn’t solve for discoverability. Facebook reactions work this way cause there are several to choose from. So unless there’s another action you can perform on the message besides “later” I’m not convinced this pattern is improving anything. And as to discoverability I think it can be dealt with by good in product communication (just as Facebook did). Again, thanks for taking some time to think it through.
