Last week I heard the voice of an angel
And I knew it
I did not take it for granted
I was in awe
The voice was clear and powerful
I knew it was an opportunity not to be missed
I listened to the words of the angel
But I did not hear
The angel did not know I was eavesdropping
I was invited to listen
The voice of wisdom and kindness
Cannot be ignored
How now do I feel blessed!
Goodbye phenomenal woman
Thank you for the dancing and the singing
Thank you for the teaching and speaking
Thank you for writing and reciting
Your words are more than we could have hoped for
And yet they were your gift to us
Rise with the other angels now…
