I was a single mom at a very young age without child support or alimony. I too had only a high school eduacation. But, I worked hard and raised, by myslef, a beautiful, successful daughter without the help of the government. I am a strong, independent, happily married woman and I am a feminist. I raised my daughter to rely on herself. She has a masters degree, she is happily married and she is a strong, intelligent, stay-at-home mom. She too is a feminist. Our world has changed since Kelly Ann Conway’s mom and I were young women. In today’s world, women work, women have babies, women run housholds, women have rights, women should have equality in the workplace. Education is so much more accessbile today, especially for young women. I read recently that women now represent more than 50% of all law-school students in the USA. So, I was astonished when I read the young women quoted in this article when said she was happy that Conway wasn’t pushng feminsim on young women today because it allows them to be individuals. I am also quite certain that the odd looks she was getting for holding up her sign at the Women’s March was not because she was a conservative but because she offended successfull, powerful, women everywhere with her beleif that the only way powerful women could possibly achieve success is by receiveing some sort of government hand-out. By her doing what she did and participating they way she did for the reasons she did, clearly demonstrates that she is a powerful young women. I would assume when she graduates and, hopefully, gains employment, she will expect to be paid equal pay for equal work. If she decides to start a family, I assume she wll take advantage of whatever maternity leave that may be available to her. I also assume that if her place of employment offers some form of child care she would appreciate that benefit, as a WOMAN. That is feminsim. It is NOT beng pro-abortion or anti-male.

Kelly Ann Conway is an embarassment to “successful”, “pwerful” women every where.
