I absolutely have come to similar conclusions. It seems as though we are coming out of a consumption coma and hopefully, have become more aware of our purchasing choices. I am trying to educate clients about the real costs of cheap both for their bottom line as well as a society. We have this issue across the board with all types of products, including food. We have become quite skilled at creating “cheap” food both in terms of price and quality, and have become larger and less healthy as a result.
