Kindness has no colour. This isn’t a kind article. I don’t want to carry the sins of every white person that ever lived. When I read things like this I hear the pain and I am deeply sorry for it and try with everything in my power to lessen it and not add to it. But I worry that the growing (whether that is simply awareness or measure of a real growth) division between people will drive us to less understanding, less acceptance and celebration of one another and more pain for everyone in the end. You can tell me to shut the fuck up. That is your right. However, not hearing from the other side leads to war. That is a real fear of mine. That kind of fear drives people deeper to darkness when I’d rather see the light.
