I’m 17 And I Deleted All My Social Media. Here’s What Happened.
Corey Simon

That’s how I felt as well Corey when I was your age.

I never got exposed to social media until I was 27, simply because it didn’t exist ;)

But now it does and it’s a big part of our world.

I tried to live off social media and get back to the real world but it’s a step backwards.

The world is moving forward and Internet is the new industrial revolution.

You have to study and learn about what this is all about if you want to thrive in today’s world.

Yesterday there was no mobile phones and we used the time to do more activities.

Today there is the virtual world which when used correctly can make your life easier.

Thanks to the internet and social media you can now work online and not succumb to a cubicle for the rest of your life.

I totally agree that social media is a big time waster only if it controls you, but if you control it, it becomes an extra daily activity.

What I learned from Tim Ferris is to check my notifications and emails 3 times a day for 15–20 minutes each time.

I switched off all notifications and only receive phone calls and messages.

Control what life throws at you and you will become the master of it.

Morgan Freeman said “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul”

Great article and Happy 17th 😉
