Company E-Learning Research Document Ride2Work

The client are the Bicycle Network and we are making an E-Learning activity for their event Ride 2 Work Day on the Wednesday 12th October. https://www.bicyclenetwork.com.au/general/programs/3025/
E-Learning Goal:
Make eLearning resource for Ride 2 Work day that promotes, road safety, road rules, confidence, riding to work and current rules and edicate.

Specs Of The Brief:
-E-learning activity will be digital and will be delivered on an Ipad.
-Due in week 11 and a spare 2 weeks for testing and fixing up.
-To be interactive but don’t not have to be cod-ed.
-Must follow ride to work style guide.
-Access via the web and must be delivered and must be working.
-All images need to be under 100kb.
-Activity for the employer and employees of the business.
-Resource needs to be completed individually.
-Create a budget, plan and stick to.
-Needs a level of autonomy and must be able to complete it by them selfs.
-Must be repeatable.
-E-learning activities need to be audience appropriate and actually pleasing. -Must have assessment capability
-Needs a cert to show proof of compilation.
Learning Objectives:
-Get into the habit of riding to work.
-Those in cars and on bike.
-Make sure people know road rules.
-Making cyclists safer and a better option.
-Teach benefits of riding to work and encouraging them to make the change.
-Ensuring employees know current road rules to be safe on the road.
-Employee should be able to write 8 benefits and encouragements for riding to work, to receive a certificate to participate in ride to work day.

Suggested Development Process-
For the project development stage during this brief, our selected and preferred development process involves beginning with storyboards of the design (done by hand) and refined with feedback — from concept ideas to a final solution. This will then be followed by a rapid prototyping stage where the functionality and content will be created and developed ready for testing later on.
Improvements-
when it comes this time around where we are doing the tasks again but by ourselves I would think it makes it a whole lot more difficult because this isn’t my strong skill I’m pretty bad at this subject as it is but surprisingly working by myself gave me the motivation where i have to complete the task and in my area of improvements was the tasks where finished and filled on time in the budget. The task was completed to my standard and all done by me so I wasn't just getting the information off of the other people. The task was looking alright and and visually appealing that doesn't have sketch drawing in the activity and its all very clean and easily done in 10 mins without getting confused.
E-Learning style
ACTIVIST : Activists are those people who learn by doing. Activists need to get their hands dirty, to dive in with both feet first. Have an open-minded approach to learning, involving themselves fully and without bias in new experiences.

Conclusion-
In conclusion the e-learning activity meets the clients need in the way of teaching the adults and even motivating them to ride chose to ride their bike to work and be apart of the event and ride their bike to work. And if they don’t chose to be apart of the event it teaches them the rules of being a driver around cyclists and how to respond to them in a safe manor. I would like to point out that the activity was done and finished in time budget and was completed to my standard.
