Yep, those cases are most often for very specific majors, such as accounting. Full-time students are plenty capable of working a part-time job. I worked three jobs during the school year, taking classes more than full-time, and anywhere from three to five jobs during the summers. These included multiple internships. Those who don’t bother to gain experience are impeding themselves. It’s possible, but it lessens their chances. Personal responsibility is important, as you’ve said!
