Incorrect. Although McCartney and Jackson did discuss publishing rights, McCartney did not “introduce Jackson to the idea.” Jackson had been performing for years by this time, and if you recall, the Jackson 5 lost the right to the NAME of THEIR OWN BAND when they left Motown and when to CBS. Going forward they were forced to adopt a new name: “The Jacksons.”
