In February of 1984, it was extremely warm. The trees and shrubs and plants began to bud and bloom early. I lived in Wisconsin at that time. And then in March the temperature went back to normal. Light snow was followed by a major ice storm. My roses and hedges were decimated. Since this has happened before, obviously it is not a sign of the apocalypse.
