God told Yang: not left, not right, forward

Is God left or right? Progressive or conservative?

For most people, they would say God is conservative, right, because Christians are mostly conservative. Christians in general don’t want to deviate from what God tells them to do. But the left, some of which are atheist, rebellious, pro-choice, LBGT…appear to be just the opposite,

Is that true? No. Let me tell you God is neither left nor right, he is both and more.

Why? We are all childeren of God, whether we are left or right, prgressive or conservative, in fact whether we believe in God or not. If we are not children of God, whose children are we? That’s impossible because God is almighty. There is no other being who is almighty as God and produces children against the children of God for thousands of thousands of years, otherwise God is not almighty.

You may say, OK, we are all children of God, but God prefers the people who are right leaning than the left leaning, because the devoted Christians pray to God and parise the God all the time, while the left may not. Not really, God produces about equal numbers of people on both sides historically and continuously.

So, let us accept the fact, God is neither purely left or purely right, he IS both. He is able to be both because he is almighty. To say he is purely one sided is equivalent as saying he is not almighty, he is partial, he lacks the other side.

How do we understand that he can be both? For thousands of years, we people do not understand the possiblity and believe God is either on my side or your side, God cannot be on both sides just as we cannot be on this side of the line and the other side. We understand this is possible only in the 20th century through modern physics: the quantum physics, which says the all things, particularly elementary particles or light, can be simultaneously a thing like a bullet and a thing like a wave. God, being the almighty, can indeed be both left and right. In fact, he can be more than that. He can have thousands of thousands of different “faces” at the same time. That’s why he can talk to thousands of thousands of people at the same time, touch their hearts when they pray to him, even though the prayers have very different thinkings and motives.

God can be both square and circle

Because God is almighty, he can have many faces, and therefre he is tolerant about all these possibilities. There is a story about God on his tolearance from our great founding father Benjamin Franklin. In 1759, Franklin traveled to Scotland and met with philosophers David Hume, Adam Smith and others. While they were dining, Franklin told them the following story:

The great patriarch Abraham saw an old man of 198 years old. He found him pitty and gave him some food. After that, the old man said he didn’t believe in God. So Abrahm let him leave. At the midnight God asked Abraham where the old man was. Abraham said: “God, he does not believe in you and does not talk about you with respect, so I kicked him out to the wilderness.”

God was very upset: “you think I do not know all these? I know, but I still let him live for 198 years and still counting. I provide food for him to eat, clothing for him to put on. Now you do not tolerate him. Are you that good yourself?”

Franklin’s friends all laughed and Adam Smith took a record of that story.

Now, let’s talk about Andrew Yang, the Democratic presidential candidate. Yang told people in his every speech “Not left, not right, forward”. He has followers of all spectrums: the progressive, the independent, the libertarian, the disaffected trump supporters.

That’s what this country needs at this time. The country is exhausted emotionally by the constant fight between the left and the right and dragged down economically because we could do many things otherwise. Sure the stock market is doing fine, but people’s salary are not growing, the infrastructure not built, the middle class is shrinking, the poor is poorer. I know the almighty God sees this and is helping us. Since the ancient time God has always sent his apostles from the east to help people. This time that apostle is Andrew Yang. He is smart, charismatic, full of energy, and loves to mingle with people, listen to them and able to be accepted by people.

Then , how will Yang unite all of us?

1: By identifying and solving the problems. The fight between the left and the right is mostly determined by their situation. Our country has big wealth gap at this time, by the accelerating technological advancement, and then by the politicians who pit us to fight with each other so they can get and remain in power. But fighting will not make us happier, the problems are still there. Correctly identifying the source of the problem and solving the problems will make us all happier and healthier!

2. By giving people a stepping stone to deal with the situation. Today’s technology is so powerful, that one person like Amazon’s Bezzos can build something to replace almost all the jobs on our main street. The result will be some billionares and some relatively rich people who are in the circle, such as the AI engineers, the bankers, the lawyers, and the rest who will lose their jobs and become hopeless, such as the retailers, drivers, fast food restaurant workers, hotel helpers, and eventually the engineers themselves. Some new jobs will be generated, but not for those who do not have the knowhow. These people need a helping hand to deal with the situation until the next job is found. This helping hand, the stepping stone, is UBI, the universal basic income, or $1000 a month proposed by Andrew Yang. They actually deserve it because they are supporting the country’s system from which the billionares benefit. That’s why UBI is called by Andrew Yang the Freedom Dividend as we are the share holders of this free country.

So, here we are. God has sent Andrew Yang as our next president, who will advocate God’s approach: not left, not right, forward. If we do not accept him, our country will continue to be a fighting land. We deserve better.
