One topic you didn’t address is market protection. In China, Google and FB were effectively blocked, leading to the rise of alternative search and social networking paradigms. It will be interesting to see how the comparatively “free market” in India shakes out, especially with regards to homegrown startups battling SV giants (Flipkart vs. Amazon, Uber vs. Olacabs).
