Absolutely amazing!

This is a lesson I’ve learned the hard way. As an upcoming musician, writer, and YouTuber it is so easy to fall in the trap of “forgetting the humanity” in your audience. Like you said we sometimes get too focused on fulfilling the “quota” of 1000 true fans instead of acknowledging those thousand as real people with their own thoughts and opinions.

In my newest approach, similar to your realization, my focus has shifted to building community and just how precious every interaction actually is. Every second taken to stop and interact with my work means the world to me because it satisfies the purpose of its existence in the first place; to start conversations.
