I agree the only good thing about Obama care was in his original idea to have private insurance combined with a gov. option. Still don’t see why this is not a good idea. It seems as if the insurance companies have a lot of pull as to what happened with Obama care.

Yes, I completely agree with your last paragraph. I hope Trump’s agenda revitalizes the country, increases the wealth of the middle class and thus create more abundance and thus spending, shopping, robust ecomony etc. The areas of concern regarding Trump are: Clean energy and environmental policies, along with holding the oil companies to responsible standards.
And putting checks on China and Russia’s expansion policies and of course Iran’s nuclear push. I actually think a dose of conservatism for a few years is not a bad idea to try and real in some of the hysteria and hold people accountable.

A big issue is immigration and terrorism and beyond that the compatibility or lack thereof between American society and Sharia Law. I don’t believe that they are compatible due to the lack of separation between Church and State that exists regarding Muslim Sharia Law and some of its basic tenets of propagation and integration into daily life and governing. This is a key issue and needs to be well thought out. Some countries and their millions of citizens are ruled by the old school tenets of Sharia Law that suppress women, gays, minorities and family members. How can this ever be compatible with American society and rule of law in the US? Freedom to practice your religion only goes as far as the rule of law, it is not exempt from the law of the land and should always be kept separate from and out of Government. I am not sure young people today understand how easily they could loose their freedoms. And not from Trump but from those that would convince them to blindly accept ideas they do not even understand. The shark that gets you is the one you don’t see.
