Briefly

It was the sweet fragrance of warm rain that reminded me
Shedding away from a long winter
The vibrant colours bursting out from old brown branches
When in full bloom catching light from the sun
How beautiful it was regardless of night or day
As time passed snowing down to the ground ever more vibrantly
For a brief time it brought bliss to all who noticed
This was the ninth time but had never been more exciting
Every day grateful and some days felt like rapture
Before I could take it all in
One day it all vanished away like it had never been there
It was the sweet fragrance of warm rain that reminded me

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?
