The DCC World Tour Continues in Taiwan
We’re back on the road kicking off the next leg of our DCC world tour in Taiwan — with the theme: “How to Construct Inclusive Finance and Share Technology Innovation.”
On July 2nd and 3rd, our team attended the 2018 Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei, Taiwan. Stewie Zhu, our founder and CEO, shared his perspectives on the application of blockchain in the financial industry, and he explained DCC’s inclusive ecosystem for financial service providers.
During the panel, when asked about the self-regulatory organizations (SROs) within the blockchain industry, Stewie mentioned the importance and necessity of establishing rules in the early stages of development — when regulations have yet to be in effect. The involvement of SROs can facilitate the overall health of the blockchain industry, which will ultimately benefit each individual project.
Next Stop: London
On July 10, team DCC attended London Fintech Week, and Stewie shared his stories via live stream, for the Chinese community. Apart from the company’s adventures in the evolving blockchain world, he shared a personal fun fact: he become one of the best Texas hold’em players in the fintech industry. Wow, way to go, Stewie!
Community News: DCC Wins First Place in KuCoin Trading Competition
This week, DCC was ranked in first place in the DCC/ETH trading competition on KuCoin. FCoin’s “trade to mine” campaign also enjoyed a great deal of popularity. Thank you for the enthusiasm and all of those who participated!

Turning to our Chinese community, we’re seeing a lot of interesting submissions in the DCC Nickname Contest. After a three-day voting period, we’ll announce the winners and distribute the rewards.
We have seen rapid growth in Korea. This week, Stewie had an interview with SosoLab, a leading blockchain-focused media outlet there. In addition, Cipher, CTO of DCC, visited Seoul and met with a number of fintech companies. Stay tuned for more news to come about all the exciting things DCC is doing in Korea!

Tech Developments
- IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH: Last week, some users couldn’t find the balance of their digital assets on BitExpress. This was a bug that can be fixed by upgrading the app to the latest version.
- In the latest version of BitExpress, users need to update their identification information before submitting a new loan application.
- We’ve also fixed a bug in the mining section of BitExpress. Now, users with expired sessions can also receive rewards.
- We’ve started to develop the framework for personal data storage on the DCC platform, which will help users manage their credit data in the distributed ecosystem.
- We’re distributing rewards to over 2,000 users per day — thank you for joining the ecosystem!
- We’ve incorporated the data of asset-based loans in the DCC database. From now on, user credit history will include this information.
- We’re connecting our database with data service providers in Indonesia.
- Our partnering developers are finalizing the DCC-based cell phone purchase platform.
