Getting Started

I started this blog today to begin a conversation on issues that I care about: social justice, economics, and the state of Alabama. The blog will be used for both original content and commentary on work pertinent to my interests. Posts will range from data analysis to personal stories.

I look forward to engaging with an online community committed to making the world a more equitable place for all people. Stay tuned for future content.

Short Bio: I grew up in Birmingham, AL and attended the Univeristy of Alabama where I studied Economics and Political Science. I currently live in Chicago, IL and am a MPP student at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Two weeks ago, I committed to attend Columbia University’s Economics doctoral program. I look forward to specializing in Public Economics and Monetary Policy. Prior to Chicago I lived in Montgomery, AL were I taught Geometry through Teach for America at Lee High School.
