Re: FOIA Request

Delivered via e-mail to garym.stern@nara.gov

Dear Mr. Stern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act (5 USC 552, as amended) for a copy of all materials in The President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection of the National Archives, which collection has been mandated by the John F. Kennedy Assassination Collection Records Act of 1992 (44 USC 2107, as amended).

I request a waiver of all fees for this request in which I have no commercial interest. Disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of, and the restoration of confidence in, the operations and activities of the U.S. Government, which understanding and confidence have severely eroded as the principal result of the secrecy modelled by its investigations of the murder of the President on and since November 22, 1963.

Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Sincerely,

Daniel O. Currie
